Couple thoughts after printing and cutting this today: 1 Will you be updating Volume 1 to look consistent with Volume 2 and 3 include borders and card numbers? For some reason I have been unable to open the pdf in both this volume and volume two.
Any help? Keeps saying the pdf is damaged and couldn't be opened. I had this for the updated Vol 1 file -- I think the downloader corrupted it in some way, because when I redownloaded it by itself it was fine.
Really neat way to start a game session without maps and 3d terrain, but also supplements them. Graphics are beautiful and cards can be used to come up with game ideas.
I really dig the man-made sound effects in the video! The video presentation sells the product I don't play much DaD but I want to run this by my group, to get it for our games. February 10, pm UTC. Now that it was updated, it's even better. It's got now lines between the cards for easier printout. And descriptive text like in Volume 2.

Update to the above: The product lists it as a PDF. Hank's art style is awesome. Robert N. Nice set of card art. There are different ways you can use the cards, from encounter spaces like a game board to adventure ideas by shuffling the set and drawing around cards randomly and creating a story around those.

Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching.
However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable.
Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background. For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book.
