As far as I have been able to determine the PDF has never been made available for regular sale, thus why I just snapped up a new copy of the book from Noble Knight's games. I enjoyed the first edition when it first came out and have a copy, but can't find many wiling to play. How different is 4th edition to 1st? Also, are there plans to release all editions, or at least 3rd edition as PDFs at some point? Thank you for the reply. When I am running or playing games locally, it's not a big challenge to take what I need to where the game is being played. At some point, I will get the 4th edition hardback as I enjoyed 1st edition. I'm tempted, but without bookmarks it is of limited use. I GM off a laptop, so bookmarks are key. Being an older gamer I am personally familiar with some aspects of issues encountered with digital files.
Many depend on the reading device but some have a great deal to do with the individual. We looked at the reported issues with the watermark. I see what some people commented on about the watermark on pages with tables. While it confuses the eye a little it is still very readable. Its been over 30 years since I played the original and this new version of Morrow Project is awesome!
It keeps the gritty, combat driven elements of the original while adding many new features that keep with the post apocalyptic theme. So its been a few months since the watermark issue, has it been resolved yet? As it will determine if I buy this or not. James, Thank you for checking back on this request. Unfortunately, after discussions with the development team, it has been discovered that completely reworking the product to produce a watermark free version would be cost prohibitive.
In future product development, we will take these requests into consideration at the beginning of the design process. Or can they be acquired officially in any format? The PDF will come eventually but we are working on the out-of-print modules first. Prime Base is the next module that will be released in PDF format.
We are working on some issues with the PDF process. Once we learn how to correct them we will get started on Prime. I have to agree that the watermarks are a big problem with this pdf.
Not sure if they were included on the print version or not. The watermarks after page 30 get darker, and are darker than the shading used in the charts. Does it make the file unreadable? Does it make reading the file annoying? Yes We shouldn't have to be commenting on the watermarks, we should be commenting on how good the content is. We tried to be very clear and even posted the following notice in the product description. I do appreciate the input. We will look into the possibility of offering a watermark free version in the future. The watermarks in the middle of each page need to go. The book is nearly unreadable as is.
